Marketing Content Coordinator

Due to accelerated growth, Opti-Port is seeking a Marketing Content Coordinator responsible for writing, designing and editing compelling content to be used across the full spectrum of B2B and B2C marketing communications. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position works closely with all members of the marketing team as well as account management and sales.

The Marketing Content Coordinator’s primary focus will be creating strategic content that effectively illustrates the brand’s voice and value proposition while driving desired action. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic environment and thrive wearing multiple hats. 

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Content Coordinator is primarily responsible for creating strategic content that effectively illustrates the brand’s voice and value proposition while driving desired action. 

Major Missions
The major missions for this role are:
I.    Assist in the execution of organization’s marketing strategy by designing and creating strategic marketing content.
II.    Improve client direct-to-patient marketing campaigns by testing new creative and assisting in the analysis of results. 

Significant Duties:

  • Utilize writing, research and creative kills to produce branded content 

    • Write engaging copy that both informs and inspires action 

    • Effectively design the graphic elements of direct mail, digital advertising, e-newsletters and website landing pages

  • Work directly with clients to develop testimonials and customer success stories

  • Execute the content development of email newsletters, social media posts, blog posts, press releases and other shareable content

  • Utilize writing, research and creative kills to produce branded content 

  • Adapt to different copywriting and graphic design styles that appeal to a variety of target audiences

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college – preferably in communications, advertising or journalism

  • 2-5 years experience in marketing content creation desired 

  • Experience working in the Adobe Creative Suite (emphasis on Ps, Id, Ai)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Video editing and basic HTML experience a plus

Position Overview
This position is responsible for and supports the onboard planning and execution for new CLX clients, and ongoing customer support for all CLX clients. The onboarding process includes coordinating system integration with the CLX and client IT teams, and CLX system training prior to placing a new client in “live” status. Establishes and maintains effective communications and support for CLX clients, internal teams and vendors. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Onboard planning and execution for new CLX clients

  • Coordinates system integration with the CLX and client IT teams to ensure projects are assigned, documented and completed

  • CLX client system training

  • Proactive client engagement to drive CLX system usage, sharing best practices and obtaining feedback

  • Supports both prospects and customers, responding to questions from incoming calls, emails and web-based communications

  • Works closely with the CLX IT, Sales and Marketing teams to relay valuable information about client interactions and feedback to improve messaging and product functionality

  • Documents all client and prospect interaction in the CLX CRM platform with relevant, detailed information for accurate, usable record keeping

  • Assists with technology projects as assigned
