Opti-Port, a national alliance of multi-office eyecare providers, announced that New York Times best-selling author Randy Street will present a keynote and interactive workshop during its semi-annual Opti-Port SPARK Conference on Thursday, March 30, at Vision Expo East.
As an author and managing partner of business consulting firm ghSMART, Street has spent his career interviewing more than 15,000 business leaders and evaluating this data to better understand the dynamics of success. Along with his colleagues, Street channeled this analysis into his newest book Power Score: Your Formula for Leadership Success.
“Opti-Port conferences are designed to facilitate peer-to-peer sharing of best practices for strategic growth, and Randy’s message and expertise align perfectly with that goal,” says Jim Edwards, Opti-Port president and CEO.
This year’s event will mark Street’s second presentation to the Opti-Port Alliance, and, Opti-Port says, “will offer a practical and proven approach to leadership development for any position within an eyecare practice.” Attendees will receive take-home tools designed to allow for “easy, immediate implementation that will improve company relationships and business performance.”
In addition to Street’s keynote presentation, the full-day conference will also feature member-led sessions on recruiting doctors, increasing contact lens revenue, driving photochromic lens sales and marketing multi-office practices.
