Opti-Port recently launched its new Accelerator Study Group, designed as an additional resource for members looking to expand and grow by either driving more business through existing locations or by adding more stores.
The inaugural meeting was held May 15-17, and hosted by Dr. Tavel Family Eyecare in Indianapolis.
Attendees from Dr. Tavel Family Eyecare (IN), The Eye Doctors (FL), Real Optics (IA), and Vision Pro (MN) covered several relevant industry topics including practice expansion, benchmarking, doctor and staff recruitment, and digital marketing.
“This type of collaboration is essential to stay competitive in the marketplace,” said Kevin Whaley, practice administrator for The Eye Doctors. “We came back with a dozen projects… everything from human resources and employee staffing to streamlining office procedures, and innovative ways to create new revenue streams!”
